Graduation Ball 2012

It gives us great pleasure to announce details of the Graduation Ball 2012!

The Ball will take place in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sligo on Friday 9th November 2012.

There is a champagne reception on arrival at 9:30pm, accompanied by canapés and light finger food in the Main Ballroom. We have a live band and disco afterwards until the small hours.

There will be lots of other entertainment on the night as we transform the Radisson Hotel Ballroom to reflect the atmosphere of this extravagant event. Graduates will receive a letter in the post this week from the Institute about the awards ceremony on campus in the Knocknarea arena, together with an invitation to the ball on Friday night.

Tickets are reserved for graduates and their guests only until Friday 2nd November. If tickets are available after this time they will go on general sale from the Students’ Union office. You can also reserve them by dropping down to our Reception.

For anybody who has ever attended the Clubs and Societies Ball each year, think the same, but BIGGER and BETTER! The brilliant news is that we are able to cater for much larger numbers because we are not having a formal meal.

We are thrilled to invite Graduates and guests to the best social event of the year and the largest celebration on the academic calendar! Tickets are on sale now. Get them fast!

  1. Leona Treanor says:

    Hello All.

I would like to reserve some tickets for the ball. My name Leona Treanor. Graduating from the class of BA honours in Early childhood care & education. I would like two tickets. I am also wondering could I get a friend to pick them up for me or post them out to me as it would be a two hour journey for me just to go up and collect them. Please get back to me as soon as possible in order for me to make arrangements.
